I am an artist based in Vienna working with drawing, photography, installation, and collaborative forms of making.

In my practice, I explore how we relate to and organize the material world around us — and the forms of disorder these processes create elsewhere. My work moves between very different scales: from everyday arrangements of objects on a table and rituals of service and display, to the transformation of minerals into materials and the microscopic structures inside semiconductor systems.

Through photographic still lifes, assemblages, and drawings, I mirror and reinterpret these systems of order in order to relate to them differently. I take familiar ways of arranging and presenting things — and shift, interrupt, or reorganize them. I also treat the digital image as a raw material that I translate into other systems, such as textile structures or photolithographic processes. Each transfer reshapes the image according to the specific rules and limitations of the new system, producing shifts, reductions, distortions, and unexpected visual relations.

Within these processes, form appears only as a temporary condensation within continuous cycles of expansion, compression, noise, and recoding.
